Intergenerational walk on Saturday 28 February.

For children, parents, grandparents, carers, with local tradition bearers passing on knowledge.

The event is aimed at helping children in Gaelic medium education use their language skills outside school and learn more about their heritage. The helpers can summarise and translate for parents and carers who don’t speak Gaelic. Older children can record short stories on their mobile phones, which we can put together as a short film afterwards.

Meet at 10.00am at Grinneabhat, North Bragar, walk to the shore followed by lunch at Grinneabhat. An alternative indoor event will be arranged in the event of bad weather.
