Hamish from the Highlands – Family Friendly Gaelic Trail
Help us celebrate Gaelic Week this February by following in Hamish from the Highland’s footsteps!
This exciting scavenger hunt and trail explores the history of New Lanark through the eyes of Hamish, a New Lanark Millworker who’s recently emigrated from the Highlands. Follow in Hamish’s footsteps to learn fascinating facts about New Lanark’s history – and a bit of Gaelic too!
Your Hamish from the Highlands Scavenger Hunt is included in our Visitor Centre Ticket. Complete your Gaelic adventure to earn a “Hamish from the Highlands” sticker and a chance to dress up at our Dress up Station in the Visitor Centre Reception!
Join the adventure at New Lanark and follow in footsteps. Thank you to Historic Environment Scotland’s Gaelic Team for their support.
