Òraid air a stiùireadh le taisbeantas air fionn-sgeul, dearbh-aithne, agus a’ mheall litreachais as motha a-riamh, na dàin Oiseanach le Seumas MacMhuirich, a chaidh fhoillseachadh ann an 1746. Bidh Màrtainn O’Connor ag innse dhuinn mun taisbeanadh aige le Taigh-cluiche Nàiseanta na h-Alba, Through the Shortbread Tin, a’ dèanamh ceangal eadar fionn-sgeul Oisean ri turas pearsanta Mhàrtainn fhèin leis an dearbh-aithne Albannach/Gàidhealach aige. Anns a’ Ghailearaidh Nàiseanta agus beò air loidhne.

A performance-led talk on myth, identity and the greatest literary hoax of all time James Macpherson’s 1746 Ossian poems. Martin O’Connor will speak about his 2025 National Theatre of Scotland performance Through the Shortbread Tin linking Ossian’s myth to Martin’s own personal journey with his Scottish/Gaelic identity. In the National Gallery and live online.
