Bidh Mòd Loch Aillse a’ libhreagadh buithtean-obrach ann an ceòl, bàrdachd, no drama a ruith ann am bun-sgoiltean ann an Loch Aillse (An Caol, Uachdar Thìre, Glinn Eilg, Loch Dubhthaich, Am Ploc (FtG & FtB), Loch Carran (FtG & FtB) is Caol Acainn tro Sheachdain na Gàidhlig. Thèid iad an libhrigeadh sa Ghàidhlig ann am FtG no dà-chananach ann an sgoiltean FtB. Mar sin, gheibh gach sgoilear sa sgire cothrom barrachd Gàidhlig a dh’ionnsachadh agus a chleachdadh ann an dòigh sporsail. Bidh sinn a’ cleachdadh eòlaichean as an sgìre le Gàidhlig gus seo a dhèanamh. Le sin, bidh sinn a’ togail ùidh sa chànan is cultar, agus a’ togail ìomhaigh na Gàidhlig cuideachd.
Our library Gaelic day will include a Gaelic bookbug session, Gaelic song workshops for primary children and adults and a podcasting session for teens.
We would welcome anyone with an interest in Gaelic language and/or song regardless of knowledge/experience of either to this workshop. Joy Dunlop has agreed to lead it. We have asked her to teach some of the standard Gaelic choir arrangements of well known songs. Joy’s ability is renowned, her enthusiasm infectious and we know that participants have thoroughly enjoyed previous similar events.
Pupils at Kirkliston Primary School will receive the opportunity for a visit from a Gaelic Storyteller.
