SUMMARY:Còisir Alba Workshop & Sharing

Your Opportunity) theme and holding a workshop with award-winning composer Sileas Sinclair\, to learn one of her fabulous Gaelic song arrangements. \n\n\nWe will finish the workshop with a ‘work in progress’ public performance of the piece\, supported by performances of our previous material\, and we’d love you to join us. This is open to anyone to attend and is free of charge. We will then close the day with an informal ceilidh\, and open the floor to impromptu performances from both choir members and the public. There may even be a wee deoch an dorais on the way out!\n\n\n\nThis will be held from 4-5pm in the Renfield Centre\, Glasgow. Tha sinn an dòchas ur faicinn ann / We hope to see you there!

Pàrcair na Gàidhlig started with Eden Alley-Porter\, who is a parkour practitioner and Gaelic learner in Naarm/Melbourne\, Australia. She had the idea of creating Gaelic-English translations of common parkour words so she could use Gaelic more often in her day-to-day life. Now\, thanks to support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig\, Parkour Outreach CIC have worked with two Gaelic language experts to bring Eden’s project to life and make it available to anyone. More info at https://www.parkouroutreach.com/gaelicparkour \nTha Parkour Outreach a’ cuir Pàrcair na Gàidhlig air bhog le “parkour cèilidh” airson Seachdain na Gàidhlig! Thàinig smuain a-steach oirre gus facail chumanta phàrcair eadar-theangachadh bho Bheurla gu Gàidhlig gus an cleachdadh na beatha làitheil. Le cuideachadh bho Bhòrd na Gàidhlig\, tha Parkour Outreach CIC air obair a dhèanamh le dithis eòlaiche chànan gus iomairt Eden a bheòthachadh is fhàgail ri fhaighinn do dhuine sam bith.
